Photocopies of handwritten and typewritten letters with photocopies of pen-and-ink sketches of buildings constructed by Mormons in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The buildings depicted are the Mormon Tabernacle, Wick's Mill, and Dagger's Saw Mill. One of the letters is dated 1902. The date of the composition of the sketches is unknown.

In his forty year career, he was retained by more than seventy municipalities to prepare planning documents. He had many professional affiliations in Jacksonville with engineering, planning, public works and other organizations and was a civic leader in numerous roles. He retired in 1970 and died in 1977.
